It starts with a rubber glove and ends with your voice rising 10 octaves.”

Exactly, it's like Jordan from a few posts back and Dennis Hopper, a seriously screwed up man if ever there was one and of course the famous Hunter S. Thompson. When you see what these people put down their throats, it is a wonder that they are still alive. How do they do it? It makes me feel ill reading about it! I mean they are walking pharmaceutical companies!! ANd I'm forgetting all the drink as well. It would be fun to do an autopsy on them I suppose, like
"Who's got more in them tonight?" than the other..one could make it into a TV series... now there's a thought.

I hate drugs like I hate guns. I am talking about the "recreational" drugs.. what's recreational about them? One becomes a junkie, spends vast amounts of money mostly that one doesn't have in the first place, apart from "Stars", does the most appalling things to oneself and others, all because of a fix and normally ends up dead faster much than anticipated. Not really much fun, I would think.

Guns kill. We can go on about the " right to bear arms , ok I suppose if you were living in an area with whole mobs of gangs, but most of us don't. If you take away guns, you take away a LOT of killing. It's not the same to blindly shoot, or shoot with intent and purpose, someone, whilst being 150 metres away, or kill someone with a knife, where you have to go up to that person, who definitely won't like what you're trying to do in the first place and will usually vehemently resist, and then slit their throats, or stab them.

IT'S NOT THE SAME.. GUNS KILL, take them away. And then lets'see how many killings there would be.
