After a break of the summer........

The fact is..... religion is the worst perpetrator of mass slaughter in the world, ever.  If one puts the likings of Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, genocide in Ruanda, Yugoslavia, etc. etc. all together, it reaches probably about not even 1/8 of the killings done in the name of God..........which brings me to:

The Pope has been visiting Britain. Why? He should be down on his hands and knees prostrating himself with all the cardinals and priests, whom he should get rid of, for the amount of paedophilia which has been rampant in the catholic church for decades. Having said that, all the other popes before him were as much to blame.

I feel that living in the 21st century should produce marriages for the catholic clergy, then their hands will be on parts which should be, male to female and not male to male, especially on young. Also, given that young boys are always being preyed upon by them, it would be expedient when the younger ones, for choir practise, etc. were always with a nun around to make sure this fiddling, except for a violin, which I have yet to see in a church, doesn't happen. Which brings me to the cases of nuns also having done probably unspeakable things with their charges. How do we know what really goes on behind these facades? Tales of unsupressed lust must be there, so, bring marriage into the church and when all concerned are getting enough of the lust and fornication, albeit legally, surely there would be no more sheenanigans going on.

Or at least there shouldn't be. The human flesh being what it is, I think there will always be naughtiness behind those closed doors...and on that note, here are some of the world's stupidest laws:

In Bahrain , a male doctor may legally examine a woman's genitals, but is prohibited from looking directly at them during the examination. He may only see their reflection in a mirror.

In Lebanon , men are legally allowed to have sex with animals, but the animals must be female. Having sexual relations with a male animal is punishable by death.

The penalty for masturbation in Indonesia is decapitation.

 

In Hong Kong , a betrayed wife is legally allowed to kill her adulterous husband, but may only do so with her bare hands. The husband's illicit lover, on the other hand, may be killed in any manner desired.
Apropos of nothing......

I adore watching Cesar Millan's programme "The Dog Whisperer". This man is fabulous. I want to adopt him. How he manages not to punch some of the stupidest people with animals, I don't know. I had lots of dogs, cats, birds, etc. and never had problems. I also never had problems bringing up my daughter. The same rules apply, disipline and fairness and lots of love. And it all comes back to you in waves of untold intensity and immense happiness.
