Have you seen the nonsense at the opening of the world cup in South Africa? Explain to this obviously stupid person, why, with all the poverty there is there, and in other African nations, the governments have to spend MILLIONS on something like this? Surely the money spent on this could have been better used for the poor? It's all very well saying that this will bring revenue into the country. With the world in recession, I doubt it.
And my absolute pet hate: THE APPALLING AND OBSCENE AMOUNTS OF MONEY PAID TO FOOTBALLERS, WHO WHEN INTERVIEWED, CAN'T STRING 2 WORDS TOGETHER TO MAKE A CONSTRUCTIVE SENTENCE, AND HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO SPEAK!!!
