I have seen that there is a faction in the Libyan jails which is going over to the way of thinking, quite correctly, that the Koran does not ask for the form of Jihad which is commonly taught and applied. How interesting. I wonder if they are true converts or converting for the sake of getting out? It will be interesting to see if Said al-Islam Ghaddafi can get this through. It would be a real breakthrough.

I have just read: goodness doesn't produce money. Is this cynical or is it the truth? A bit of both I think, isn't it.

Sundays are supposed to be a day of rest. Will someone please shout that at me? I have cleaned, done washing, windows, washed floors, brushed the cats, pruned lots of plants in my garden, which will no doubt, knowing my luck, have grown double size by next week, cleared out wardrobes from old clothes which I haven't worn for ages, ditto shoes, written 13 emails in length to friends, & it's not even 2pm! I am nuts.

Sitting in my small garden I was struck with the fact, again, that life has become a great big mess wherever you look. The birds have it better, at least they can fly away. Such hate, intolerance, racism and disrespect. I am glad that I was not brought up like this.
