The Pope is going to Britain

Why? He should stick his head in a paper bag and leave it there. All the problems with the Catholic Church and it's wonderful kiddy - fiddlers, no proper justice for the perpetrators who, in many cases have been shuffled about the globe with the church not wanting to see what they have been up to. It beggars belief. The people of Britain will not be allowed too near the Pope, the news says.
I would think they wouldn't want to, for fear of being defiled.

Good, isn't it......

  1. While it is true that there have been huge abuse cases world wide and particularly in Canada I believe that the root cause is the imposition of celibacy on the priesthood.

My Church of England is more liberal in it's outlook in that prinsts are allowed to marry and raise families.

Catholic priests were men first before they became priests and this natural body function should not be denied by the Church.

  2. Quite right David. Of course celibacy is wrong. When are we living? In the 21st century or the Middle Ages??
